Founded in 2018, Munna Creek Country Music Walk Up is a popular country music open mic event held over 2 days and 3 nights. The event, renowned for its friendly laid-back atmosphere, offers under cover entertainment in a recently renovated historic hall in the beautiful Munna Creek countryside.

Perform on stage or enjoy the music
Take the stage in our open mic sessions and sing your favourite songs with a full backing band in a fun, casual setting.
Alternatively sit back and enjoy local and visiting talent perform original music or covers of country songs you know and love. The choice is yours!

Venue
Walk Up events are held at the Munna Creek Hall grounds – 15 acres of land in a beautiful bush setting. With a historic community hall which has recently been renovated, the Munna Creek venue is the perfect place for a laid-back country music events.
The venue offers under cover entertainment and plenty of parking, with a large car park on offer for people visiting Walk Up events for the day.
Camping
Pitch a tent; or bring your caravan, camper trailer or Winnebago and camp in our beautiful 15 acre bushland venue. Perfect for relaxing and unwinding.
On offer is bush camping:
- Non-powered sites, with plenty of room for all types of campers
- Level camping sites
- Toilets
- Generators welcome from 7am to 9pm
- Water available.
Frequently asked questions
Will the event be held under cover?
Sure will! The event will be held in Munna Creek’s recently renovated historic hall.
Do I need to bring a chair?
We’ll provide chairs in the hall for audiences to watch the entertainment. You’ll need to bring a chair to sit outside and relax in our beautiful bushland venue.
Can I bring my dog to the Walk Up events?
You’re welcome to bring your dog – there are plenty of places to take them for a walk in our 15 acre bushland venue. Dogs are not allowed near the entertainment or food areas and need to be kept under control at all times.
Can I buy food and drinks at the Walk Up events?
A range of food and drinks are available for purchase:
- Thursday to Saturday (all day) – Baked goodies (perfect for morning or afternoon tea), water, soft drinks, tea and coffee
- Friday and Saturday (lunch and dinner) – Pies, sausage rolls, pasties and sandwiches.
Can I purchase alcohol at the Walk Up events?
We don’t sell alcohol at Walk Up events, but you’re welcome to BYO alcohol.
