Getting here
The Munna Creek Country Music Walk Up is based in the Fraser Coast Region, in the small rural community of Munna Creek. Located about 3 hours north of Brisbane, halfway between Gympie and Maryborough, the Munna Creek venue is surrounded by natural bushland with plenty of native wildlife and views of Mount Urah. Together with the recently renovated historic hall, it’s the perfect venue for a laid-back country music event.

Finding us is easy
The Munna Creek venue is easy to find from the Bruce Highway (A1) and Wide Bay Highway – the major highways in the region.
From Gympie on the Bruce Highway (A1)
Travelling northbound
| Drive 47km (about 30 minutes) north of Gympie on the Bruce Highway (A1) |
| Turn left onto Bauple Woolooga Road at the Kilkivan sign (see image) |
| Then follow the Walk Up signs |
From Maryborough on the Bruce Highway (A1)
Travelling southbound
| Drive 34km (about 25 minutes) south of Maryborough on the Bruce Highway (A1) |
| Turn right onto Bauple Woolooga Road at the Goomeri / Kilkivan signs (see image) – just past Tiaro |
| Then follow the Walk Up signs |
From Kilkivan on the Wide Bay Highway
Travelling towards the Bruce Highway
| Drive 16km (about 10 minutes) past Kilkivan on the Wide Bay Highway |
| Turn left onto Bauple Woolooga Road at the Woolooga / Maryborough sign (see image) |
| Then follow the Walk Up signs |
